Boiler Servicing

Having your boiler serviced annually is critical to ensure efficient and safe operation.

Most manufacturers require that a boiler is serviced annually, otherwise any repairs required during the warranty period may be chargeable and you may lose any remaining warranty on the boiler.

Our expert technicians can ensure that your boiler is running at its full potential, and you and your family are safe.

See our details below on what is covered on a service, our pricing and how to book.

What is Covered

A service covers both safety and combustion performance of a boiler. Our engineers will check major components in the boiler to ensure they are working as they should, and recommend any improvements to improve efficiency.

During the service our engineer will check and record:

  • Appliance details and location
  • Before and after gas tightness tests
  • Combustion performance readings
  • Gas Pressures and Rates
  • Component Checks
  • Combustion Components
  • Electrical Components
  • Gas Components
  • Water Components
  • Fireplace checks (if required)
  • Clearances
  • If the appliance is safe to use and, if not, any actions required to rectify faults.

The engineer can give you a detailed explanation of their findings following the service, and what steps you can take to improve the operation of the boiler.

Our Pricing

Our flat rate for a boiler service is £120 including VAT (£100 excluding).

Our prices are carefully calculated to ensure you get the best possible service at a reasonable price.

This covers the booking fees, travel and labour costs for the engineer and a digital CP6 certificate is provided on completion.

If you have a Back Boiler Unit (BBU), an older type of boiler that uses a gas fire instead of a integral burner, you will also require a gas fire service in addition to the normal certificate.

*price is per boiler/per certificate
