Our company started out small, run from a house in the village of Eckington in Worcestershire by John Johnston who had moved from Scotland and founded Scotia Gas. The company started importing and selling the first combination boilers from France in the 1980's and the business grew into a boiler service company. The company imported the first type of condensing boiler into England - many of which are still working today! And then branched out into supplying spare parts to stockists and doing breakdown repairs for customers and became service agents for the manufacturers. Scott Johnston took over the business after his father passed away and the business moved to premises in Tewkesbury and finally expanded to take up its current offices in Bredon. In 2008 expansion led to the birth of Johnston Scotia and sees the company where it is today, in a strong position to trade forward, adapt and expand for the future innovations and renewable products within the modern heating industry.

We are a unique small – medium sized company within the heating & plumbing industry because of the different types of work we undertake for our clients and customers. Using our proven track record within the trade, knowledge and experience built up over 30 years has allowed us to develop into several specialist areas within our trade.

Johnston Scotia Limited– our plumbing & heating company – carrying out installations, servicing and repairs to plumbing and heating systems for domestic customers. Also a regional repair agent for manufacturers and insurers.

ScotiaCare – our boiler/heating and plumbing annual service contracts, giving our own customers complete peace of mind. ScotiaCare is sold by our sister company Scotia Limited.

ESL Spares – Importing & Selling specialist heating spares to Merchants, National Repair Companies, independent heating engineers and the public.

European House Call Centre – Our specialist inbound call centre, running customer service and engineer technical help lines for some of Europe’s largest boiler manufacturers.

From our modern offices in the rural setting of the picturesque village of Bredon our office team control our group of field based engineers who cover the Southwest and Midlands of England and also parts of South Wales. From Telford across to Leicester in the Northern edge of our area down to Exeter across to Bournemouth in the South and covering all areas in between.
